My academic background includes an LL.M in Animal Law from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College, a J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, and a BA from Western Kentucky University. During law school, I gained valuable experience working with Churchill Downs, Inc. in their legal/compliance department and the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Small Business/Self-Employed Division. Before law school, I worked as a case manager with personal injury attorneys, helping injured parties battle insurance companies twenty years ago.. Outside of my legal practice, I enjoy playing pickleball and tending to my backyard vegetable garden. I am married to one of my law partners, Tim O'Dea, and we share our home with two rescued companions, Ozzy and Chop.
