Aside from the law, Brianna has been the “voice” of creatives across the country for over three decades. Prior to entering law school, Brianna was a graphic designer and ran a consulting firm aimed at addressing the unique needs of creative professionals. Through Ethereal Image, Brianna brokered CD replication agreements; assisted her clients with the attainment of copyrights and mechanical licenses; negotiated record deals, management, and booking agreements, and facilitated the distribution of her clients’ releases through established outlets. A jazz pianist herself (and the mother of a Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist), Brianna’s love for the arts is deeply personal.. Brianna is also an active member of the community. She has served as the Director of Communications for the National Bar Association; an instructor at Morehouse College’s Project Identity Saturday Institute; has served as a guest lecturer in Music Business at Loyola University and strategic visioning at Oglethorpe University, and is an advisory board member of Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University and a board member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Committee to Promote Inclusion in the Profession. Brianna has been recognized as one of the Nation’s Best Advocates: Top 40 Under 40 by The National Bar Association and IMPACT, as a Super Lawyer, and as a member of The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.. Brianna serves as a hearing officer for DeKalb County and is a registered neutral certified by the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution. A graduate of Tulane University (Bachelor of Science in Psychology) and Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law (Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor), Brianna is admitted to practice in both Georgia and Louisiana.
