I graduated from University of South Florida with two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in English Literature, and the other in Interdisciplinary Social Science.  My original thesis was accepted in 2006 entitled, "The Role of the Mitigation Expert for the Defense in the Penalty Phase of Capital Sentencing." Additionally, my honors thesis was accepted in 2006 entitled, "Deep in the Forest There Lies a Green Room:  An Examination of Audience Engagement in Three of Shakespeare’s Festive Comedies and Romances."  I am a long term resident of Northern Virginia, and returned to the area to complete my graduate study at George Mason University School of Law, where I participated in the American Consitutional Society.. I joined the McGlone Law Firm as an associate in 2011, and became partner in the Fall of 2014, changing the firm name to that of McGlone & Jehlen.  I then joined Surovell Isaacs & Levy, PLC to expand my criminal practice and begin learning how to work on domestic law cases. I practice in traffic and criminal defense litigation, specializing in DUI/DWI defense and Reckless Driving defense.. I was a proud partner at Blanch & Hart PLLC (f/k/a Zinicola Blanch Overand & Hart PLLC) which served a wide variety of criminal defense issues including bench trials, jury trials, and appelate work.  I also work the crossover cases into domestic violence and family law for both victim's representation and those falsely accused of domestic violence.  I worked on protective orders, custody, and divorce.. Since moving to the Richmond area with my family, I have joined the firm of Melone Hatley specializing in family law with cross over areras of juvenile, criminal, and protective order cases. I travel within Chesterfield, Henrico, and the Metro-Richmond Area.. In addition to my work at the firm, I offer my services to the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, the Hope for the Warrior Project, and Legal Services of Northern Virginia as a pro bono attorney for victims of domestic assault pusuing protective orders.  I believe in the protection of constitutional rights for every individual, and the protection of civil liberties for all.. Finally, I support our troops at home and abroad.
