Tim Bouch is the managing partner in the Charleston andColumbia firm of Leath, Bouch & Seekings, LLP, and practices in the areasof environmental law, construction law and corporate litigation.  He received his B.S. degree from MarquetteUniversity and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina.  He is admitted in South Carolina, NorthCarolina and Texas.  Tim has an activenational trial practice. He was Chair of the South Carolina Supreme CourtCommission on the Rules of Professional Conduct, which was responsible for theEthics 200 revision of the South Carolina Rules of Professional conduct.  Mr. Bouch is a Life Fellow of the AmericanBar Foundation, an elected member of the American Law Institute, and is includedin the publication The Best Lawyers inAmerica, and Super Lawyers.   He represented the South Carolina Bar forfour years in the ABA House of Delegates, and has served in the SC Bar House ofDelegates for over nine years. Mr. Bouch served three years as Chair of theABA/Litigation Section Environmental Litigation Committee.  He is a past Chair of the ABA/Tort, Trialand Insurance Practice Section, and previously chaired its Toxic &Hazardous Substances Committee. Tim served eight years on the ABA StandingCommittee on Professional Discipline, three years on the Section Council of theTort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association, twoterms on the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility Publications Board, andwas Chair of the Editorial Board of the ABA/BNA Lawyers Manual on ProfessionalResponsibility.  Currently he is Chairof the ABA’s Standing Committee on Specialization and serves in the ABA Houseof Delegates.
