From the beginning of her professional career in medicine as a critical care nurse, Jane had a passion for providing quality patient care. As a nurse, she took care of thousands of patients who required meticulous attention to their medical needs. During her nursing career, Jane witnessed the importance of protecting the legal rights of her patients and then went on to obtain her law degree. Jane’s success in merging her compassion, her medical knowledge and her skills as a trial lawyer gives her the ability to obtain legal remedies and lawful accountability through the civil justice system. She has been a passionate advocate for her clients who have suffered injuries or death in the context of hospital negligence, physician negligence, automobile accidents, nursing home negligence and dangerous products and drugs. Jane constantly utilizes her medical background and specialized expertise to dissect complex cases and bring them to a meaningful resolution for her clients. Jane is a leader in her profession and she has maintained leadership roles in the Washington State Bar Association as a member and past Chair of the Litigation Section and past member of the Court Rules and Procedures Committee. She has also served in a leadership position for many years as a board member of the Washington State Association of Justice, chairing its Court Rules and Judicial Relations Committees. Since 2012, The National Trial Lawyers has named Jane one of the top 100 trial lawyers in Washington State.
