Cécile attended the University of Paris 10, where she studied both the French civil system and the American and British common law systems, with a concentration in International Law (including European Union Law, Public International Law, and Comparative Law). She then had the opportunity to attend Albany Law School as a foreign exchange student.. While at Albany Law School, Cécile clerked with the Environmental Protection Bureau at the New York Office of the Attorney General. Her prior experience also includes a clerkship in Intellectual Property Law at the Paris office of one of the world's top 10 law firms, an in-house counsel position focused on international commercial operations at the headquarters of a global pharmaceutical company in Paris, and an Associate Attorney position in real estate and other transactional matters at a boutique law firm in Albany, NY. More recently, Cécile practiced in HoganWillig's Corporate and Business Law department.. Cécile is a Director and former Treasurer of the Alliance Française de Buffalo (French Alliance of Buffalo), a not-for-profit organization that encourages the study of the French language and gathers its members around French cultural and social events.
