Attorney Russell earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School of Law. While he was in law school, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland with the United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia as his professor. Mr. Russell has been practicing bankruptcy and foreclosure law for over 10 years. After seeing numerous homeowners lose their homes and property without having anyone to help them, Attorney Russell knew that he wanted to pursue foreclosure and bankruptcy. Attorney Russell is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Since 2003, he has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar and Boston Bar Associations, and he has been a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys since 2001. Attorney Russell successfully argued the appeal for the LaRace family in the national precedent setting case, U.S. Bank, Nat'l Ass'n v. Ibanez,  decided by the Masschusetts Supreme Judicial Court in 2011. In 2012, Attorney. Russell was named Lawyer of the Year by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, and was also awarded with “Top Attorney!”  by Boston Magazine.
