After the Army, Tommy attended Pittsburg State University and spent a short stint as a high school history and government teacher. During that time, he helped coach cross-country and long distance running for track and field. Prior to opening his firm, Tommy worked for the Kansas Corporation Commission (“Commission”) as a law clerk for several years working on complex energy law matters. After his stint with the Commission, Tommy joined the Citizens Utility Ratepayer Board (“CURB”) as litigation counsel. For over three years Tommy litigated against the biggest utility companies in the State of Kansas (Westar, Kansas City Power & Light, Kansas Gas Services, etc.) to keep utility costs down for Kansas ratepayers.. After his stint with CURB, Tommy started his own law firm, Connors Law LLC, in order to help clients in the practice areas of family law, criminal defense, and other civil matters. Through his legal experiences, Tommy developed two rare gifts.
