Additionally, the National Trial Lawyers designated Ms. Gaffney a 2015 Top 100 trial lawyer. Before joining Weitz & Luxenberg in 2010, Gaffney was an associate at Locks Law Firm in Philadelphia. Prior to that, she held a post as a Philadelphia assistant public defender, assigned to the city’s Major Felony Trial Unit.. Gaffney studied law at Temple University, completing the juris doctor program there in 2002. While an undergraduate at Catholic University of America, she played women’s varsity soccer and spent a year attending Universidad de Valladolid in Spain. Ms. Gaffney was born and raised in North Wales, Penn.; she resides in Philadelphia.
