The Law Office of Mark Hefter, P.C. was established in 2007 after Mr. Hefter spent close to twenty years working for two prominent Austin law firms.  Mr. Hefter has participated in various trials and settlements on behalf of consumers and their families in multiple venues combined to amount to over $100 million.  His experience includes managing a wide-ranging docket of cases including personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, pharmaceutical and commercial litigation.  Mr. Hefter has worked as a defense attorney, defending large corporations and working on behalf of large insurance companies.  More recently, Mr. Hefter spent close to 15 years working on behalf of victims and their families who had been harmed by wrongful conduct.. Mr. Hefter is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the areas of Personal Injury Law and Consumer and Commercial Law.  In addition, he is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  He is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas.  He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas and the Fifth Circuit, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts.  He was awarded an “AV” rating by Martindale Hubbell for professional excellence in skill and integrity.
