My journey to the legal field was a strange one. After studying biochemistry and gene therapy, I decided the lab environment wasn't for me. I looked into becoming a patent agent so I could help new inventors protect their ideas and start businesses.. I joined an existing Intellectual Property law firm and enjoyed the work. I decided to pursue a legal degree and become an attorney. After 3 1/2 years of night school, I received my license. While attending school, my interests expanded beyond patent law but always remained focused on the individual.. However, the firm's clients were primarily larger oil and gas clients rather than the individuals on which I wanted to focus. I left the firm to start my own practice. Let me know how I can help you.
