I am a trial lawyer with over a decade of experience primarily in class action defense, labor and employment counseling and litigation and competition and consumer protection litigation.. My employment practice is management focused and includes working with clients on preventative measures, such as leading management and employee trainings, counseling on disciplinary actions and investigations, and conducting employment practices reviews.. I am often called into disputes or latent disputes to asses potential risks and suggest alternatives to costly litigation. I consider alternatives early in the process, and have successfully resolved many significant cases through unique business arrangements, preemptive motions, mediation and other alternative means of resolution.. Because I value community service and community-building, I serve on the Board of Governors for CityClub, a civic organization comitted to contributing solutions to the issues vital to the Puget Sound region.  I was formerly President of the City of Los Angeles Environmental Affairs Commission and remain a devoted advocate for sound stewardship of natural resources.
