He founded Murphy Law Firm in 1998, after 12 years of litigation practice with a large law firm in Great Falls. Mr. Murphy practices before State and Federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. In addition, he is the Co-Chairman of the Montana Trial Lawyers Workers Compensation Section and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Montana Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA). On the National level, Mr. Murphy serves on the Board of the Directors for the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). WILG is comprised of approximately one thousand workers' compensation attorneys fighting for the rights of injured workers across the United States..
