J. Patrick Williams,  J.D. is one of the founding partners of Batch & Williams, PC. His practice is focused in Family law, divorce, domestic violence and related claims.  Patrick has over 17 years experience litigating family law matters ranging from simple custody cases to high asset and high conflict equitable distribution matters.  He also is active in the legal community and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Grievance Committee, which investigates disputes between clients and attorneys, as well as a member of State Bar Ethics Committee.. Mr. J. Patrick Williams received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. Mr. Williams worked as a System Administrator/Programmer for several years prior to entering the legal field.. Mr. Williams received his Juris Doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While attending Campbell University, Mr. Williams was a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association trial team for two years, Notes and Comments Editor for the Campbell Law Review..
