Hi, I am Dustin McCrary, a divorce lawyer focusing on the legal needs of divorce and separation, child custody, child support, alimony and spousal support, property distribution and domestic violence. I’m a divorce lawyer in Statesville, Mooresville, Hickory and surrounding areas because I believe that divorce is tough and demands five-star-quality plus representation.My clients would tell you that I have the inexplicable ability to put them at ease.  I have a calming presence and genuinely care about every person I come in contact with.  I'm quick-witted and think fast on my feet. I have an answer for anything and you will undoubtedly find yourself repeating one of my witty remarks. I love spicy food, being outdoors on the golf course or fly-fishing in a stream in the mountains, and UNC athletics, not necessarily in that order.  I’ve been to seven UNC versus Dook basketball games in Chapel Hill, the best being the come from behind win in 2005. When it comes time to beat my friends on the golf course, my fiercely competitive spirit comes out and I don’t lose.   I graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Communications and earned my law degree with honors and M.B.A. from North Carolina Central University.  While there, I was a member of the North Carolina Central Law Journal, graduated #1 in my M.B.A. class, and served as a teaching assistant for the business law classes at the School of Business.In my spare time, I serve on the executive board of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, March of Dimes, and Iredell County Republican Party.
