He is the grandson of Commissioner Robert W. “Bob” Harrell, Sr., former SCDOT Highway Commissioner, and the son of Speaker Robert W. “Bobby” Harrell, Jr., former Speaker of the South Carolina House of Representatives.. Trey and his wife, Amber, live in Mt. Pleasant with their baby girl, Lucy. When he is not working with clients, he enjoys taking his wife to dinner, being out on the water and rooting for his Gamecocks.
