Scott T. McArdle is a 1996 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and was honored to be selected to serve Justice H. Mark Kennedy of the Supreme Court of Alabama.   Upon entering private practice, Mr. McArdle has practiced exclusively in the areas of Personal Injury to Children and Adults; Wrongful Death; Complex Litigation; Insurance Law; Insurance Bad Faith; Products Liability and Medical Malpractice.  After serving with distinction for the largest plaintiff’s firm in Alabama where he regularly represented over 500 clients, Mr. McArdle focused on his goal to have a personal relationship with each client.   That goal, which he now shares with his law partner, Misha Whitman, lead Mr. McArdle to form McArdle & Whitman, P.C.. Mr. McArdle is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts of Alabama and Mississippi and is a noted advocate by the National College of Advocacy.  Mr. McArdle was a part of the litigation team that produced the largest verdict in Alabama history, $395 million.  Mr. McArdle takes great pride in a number of verdicts and settlements for injured children or children whose parents were killed by others negligence that, to date, are estimated to exceed $20,000,000. Through his memberships in the American Association for Justice, Alabama and Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. McArdle is regularly called on by fellow lawyers to advise them on trial techniques and strategies.. Mr. McArdle is married to the former Kelly Lynn O’Gwynn of Enterprise, Alabama.  The McArdle family consists of Scott, Kelly, their 10 year old son, John Thomas, 7 year old  daughter, Mimi and Weimeranner Sage.. Since its opening in 2006, McArdle & Whitman, P.C. has been dedicated to handling complex damage cases, including catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.
