Kelly represents clients in both state and federal court, and has litigated appeals before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, as well as the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Since 2012, Kelly has been recognized as a Wisconsin Rising Star in the area of Business Litigation.. Kelly’s experience includes:. During law school, Kelly was a Note and Comment Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review. Her Comment, “Get Cash Until Payday! The Payday-Loan Problem in Wisconsin,” was published in the 2006 Volume of the Wisconsin Law Review. She also participated in internships with the Wisconsin Department of Justice Civil Litigation Unit, the Consumer Law Litigation Clinic, and Judge John Coffey of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.. Kelly is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Economic Justice Institute (EJI) of the University of Wisconsin Law School’s civil, anti-poverty clinical programs which include the Consumer Law Clinic, the Family Court Assistance Project, the Neighborhood Law Project and Foreclosure Mediation Clinic. Kelly also chairs the Association for Women Lawyers Moms in the Bar discussion group, and is involved in mentoring law students and young lawyers.

I have been practicing labor and employment law since I graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1982.  I joined Krukowski & Costello, S.C. in 1980 and became a shareholder in 1986.. Majority of my practice centers on matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act, including union organizing and unfair labor practices brough by or against labor organizations, NLRB proceedings, arbitrations and labor audits.  I regularly negotiate collective bargaining agreementgs and Title VII litigation and matters involving disability, discrimination, employment contracts, wage and hour issues, worker's compensation, unemployment insurance and OSHA.  A significant portion of my practice involves non-compete and confidentiality agreement litigation.. I am named to the list of Top One Hundred Labor Attorneys in the United States complied by the Labor Relations Institute, Inc. and selected for inclusion in the 2010 - 2014 editions of the Best Lawyers in America, the 2013 edition of Wisconsin's Best Lawyers in the specialty of Labor and Employment Law, the 2012 edition of Wisconsin's Top Rated Lawyers and, inclusion as a Key Individual since 2011 in Chambers USA America's Leading Lawyers for Business.. In my free time I like to ride my bike, collect Neue Sachlichkeit art and spend time with my wife and two daughters. I presented a lecture at the Northwestern University Block Museum of Art on "War and Weimer Art."
