This stint provided him with valuable insights into the practical aspects of criminal defense. Not one to settle, Daniel seized the opportunity to join the Kern County Public Defenders Office. His work ethic, dedication, and unrelenting drive saw him rapidly climb the ranks from handling misdemeanor offenses to managing serious felony trials in less than three years. In 2008, Daniel ventured into entrepreneurship and started his own legal practice - The Law Offices of Daniel E. Kann, now the Kann California Defense Group. His firm now represents clients facing serious felony and misdemeanor charges such as murder, manslaughter, vehicular homicide, rape, robbery, burglary, and assault, among others.
