Samuel J. Siemon is the founding partner of The Siemon Law Firm, P.C. Sam practices both family law and criminal defense. Oftentimes, these two areas of law overlap and it is beneficial for the client to have one attorney well versed in both areas. Sam received his business degree from Flagler College in Florida and his juris doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University. Sam  is a past President of the Forsyth County Bar Association and past Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer of the Forsyth County Bar Association.  As a member of the local Bar, Sam serves as the liaison to the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a proud member of the Lanier Forsyth Rotary Club and the Jaycees of Forsyth County. Sam is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Family Law and Criminal Defense sections. Sam has also volunteered his time representing indigent persons through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation. Marcy grew up in a small town in upstate New York and attended college at the State University of New York at Potsdam.  She graduated in 1999 with a B.A. in both Math and Education.  After many trips to Atlanta throughout college to visit a high school friend, she moved to Georgia to attend Georgia State law school from 2001 to 2004.  In 2004, Marcy began her career with a small law firm in Lawrenceville that focused on family law and criminal law, where she tried cases, argued motions, and managed her own caseload.. In 2006, she joined a medium size firm in Buckhead, where she gained the experience and organization offered by larger firms.  In 2008, Marcy took the experience she gained from the small firm and the knowledge she obtained from the larger firm and began her own practice.. Marcy’s parents divorced when she was thirteen.  Although it was an amicable divorce, Marcy acted out to get her parent’s attention.  After reflection and therapy, Marcy began to understand how one parent’s behavior can affect a child and how the non-offending parent can help their children navigate a divorce.  It was at this time she decided to focus her law practice on family law.. Marcy’s efforts have reunited children with their parents, separated children and spouses from abusive parties, and obtained child support for children and their custodial parents.   Marcy's real life experience of being a child of divorced parents has also helped her understand what it means to act in the best interest of the children and advise her clients how to protect the best interest of the children. I went to law school to help make people's lives better and practicing family law has been one of the most rewarding ways in which to do that.  Divorce and child custody issues involve some of the most emotionally charged and traumatic events people encounter.  I enjoy (for the most part) helping folks see the light at the end of the tunnel and helping them find ways to make the best of an otherwise terrible time in their lives.. While the "law" certainly is a critical part of practicing family law, my own personal experience during my divorce and subsequent custody battles (the divorce took four years to obtain and the custody battles took place about every two years for well over a decade) give me ground level experience about the emotional trauma that goes along with these types of cases.  I have to say that I finally got wise and married my best friend from high school and have been happily married to him for almost 20 years.  We have lots of kids (only a few of which I actually birthed - the rest  came over to eat dinner and never really left) and a very firm belief that it is possible to create your own family, regardless of blood ties.  (We were the "Blind Side" long before the movie came out, just for the record.). On the other hand, I served as General Counsel for a multinational corporation prior to practicing family law, so I have a strong business background and understand where the money can sometimes go in family owned businesses.  I can comfortably track assests and income streams from many sources and understand how division of marital busineses can alter the business valuations.. Going to court is my work version of chocolate.  I absolutely love it and it has the added benefit of being fat free.

I discovered my passion for family law while taking upper-level psychology courses as a part of my undergraduate studies. These courses often focused on interpersonal relationships and the post-effects of divorce. My practice areas include divorce, separation, custody, child support, legitimation and prenuptial agreements.. As a product of metro-Atlanta, I earned my J.D. degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Political Science at Georgia State University.. Following my admission to the Georgia Bar, I worked at a large law firm with a concentration on Father's rights that is recognized nationwide. There, I spent years litigating divorce, contempt, custody, and legitimation matters throughout the metro-Atlanta area and other surrounding North Georgia counties. I began practicing family law while still a student in Seton Hall University Law School in New Jersey and found that I loved it. Family law is challenging and each case is very different from the next and presents its own unique issues and strategy. From that first divorce in law school, I have continued to practice family and divorce law exclusively.

I am a mother of two wonderful children who have profoundly changed my perspectives and reinforcement of my passion for helping parents through divorce situations.  I love all types of outdoor activities.

Amanda first started in the field of family law 2010 as an intern at a prominent firm while attending the Georgia Institute of Technology for her undergraduate degree. After graduating from Georgia Tech, she left to pursue her law degree at the Charleston School of Law.. During her first and second years of law school, Amanda worked extensively with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services (CPBLS) helping pro se litigants to prepare and file divorce, child custody and visitation documents. Volunteering at CPBLS only enhanced Amanda's passion for the field of family law and her desire to help others. During her final year of law school, Amanda interned at a prominent family law practice in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina where she gained in-depth knowledge of child custody proceedings and had the opportunity to work one-on-one with a number of clients. Upon earning her law degree, Amanda returned home to Georgia. Amanda has been practicing family law exclusively since February 2015, and was recently awarded the Super Lawyers "Rising Star" award for 2022.. Amanda currently resides in Forsyth County with her husband and their two children.
