Brett Tokarczyk currently practices in multiple areas at HoganWillig, including personal injury, medical malpractice and litigation. Brett, admitted to practice in the State of Georgia in 2011 and State of New York in 2013, received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia Law School. He was an associate at Brick, Brick and Elmer, P.C. where he dealt primarily with family law and estate planning matters; upon joining HoganWillig, he brought his experience in family law to clients working the uncertainties of divorce.. Mr. Tokarczyk has enjoyed many accolades: he has been named a 2015 Super Lawyers Rising Star, and also received the 2012 Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project Pro Bono Award in recognition and appreciation of his extensive pro bono work trying and appealing unemployment benefit claims. He is a Member of the Bar Association of Erie County as well as a Member of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Tokarczyk's experience has afforded him a good deal of success across many different legal matters.

As an attorney in the real estate department, Ms. Letty oversees the everyday operations of all aspects of the real estate practice including buy/sell, mortgage and relocation, as well as becoming more involved in transactions that require litigation or attention beyond the normal closing. She is also the principal title insurance attorney who examines titles, prepares preliminary title reports, resolves title problems, and issues final title insurance policies through various title insurance agencies, in an effort to insure that our clients, whether they are purchasers or banks, are fully protected against adverse title claims that may arise as a consequence of their purchase or financing of a particular piece of real property.. In addition to the above, Ms. Letty assists other departments in the firm with regards to bankruptcy matters, evictions and collections. She appears extensively in Supreme, County, City and Local Courts, including Small Claims Courts in various jurisdictions, relative to collection matters, civil motions, contract disputes, foreclosures and evictions.

Amanda Wyzykiewicz currently focuses her practice in our firm’s Corporate & Business Law department. As an associate, she frequently assists with complicated financial and tax matters in many different departments, including: our marital group,concentrating on the valuation of business entities; the estate and estate planning group, in which she analyzes the tax implications of high-wealth individuals’ estate plans; and, finally, in various business litigation matters. Amanda's financial and corporate expertise is also utilized extensively by the white collar crimes unit within HoganWillig’s criminal department.. Ms. Wyzykiewicz obtained a B.S. from University at Buffalo’s Business Administration Registered Accounting Program in 2002. While in law school at University at Buffalo, she interned at the Buffalo office of the IRS.  After graduating with her J.D. in 2005, and prior to joining HoganWillig, Ms. Wyzykiewicz worked as a staff attorney at a large multinational firm in Washington D.C. where her practice focused on electronic discovery.
