Reg P. Wydeven was born in Kimberly, Wisconsin. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1991 and from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in 1995 (magna cum laude). He joined the firm after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1998 and became a partner in 2003..
