Since graduating from Baylor Law School I have been a solo practitioner, as well as a shareholder with Cribbs & McFarland, PC, an Arlington law firm where I handled most of the litigation.  I also have handled many matters involving real estate, business and probate that did not involve contested lawsuits.. My objective is to work with my clients to determine their goals, or as I usually ask "at the end of the day when all this is behind you, what does it look like.  What do you want to see?  What do you want to accomplish?"  After agreeing on a realistic end-game we can tailor strategy and work towards achieving it.  Sometimes it is as straightforward as deciding how their estate is to be distributed in a Will.  Other times it is how to handle a lawsuit that has been brought against them, or how to vindicate their rights if they have a claim against someone else.. My practice involves employment and corporate law litigation and advice and counsel throughout Virginia, Maryland, and D.C., with a particular focus upon employment law and business issues. I have litigated in courts throughout the country and have advised companies and executives in a variety of industries.  I have extensive experience concerning wage and hour, wage payment, and non-competition agreement issues.. I have a stellar academic background, graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1999 with honors and at the top of my undergraduate class.  More than that, I have achieved excellent results for my clients and am committed to their success.

Since 2013, Evan has worked as outside corporate counsel for entities ranging from small tech startups to large multinational trade groups and corporations. For his corporate clients, his representation includes: contract preparation, negotiation and review; mergers, acquisitions and sales; governance oversight; regulatory compliance; intellectual property licensing; and non-litigation employment law matters, among others. He has also performed national security policy work regarding critical infrastructure protection for the Department of Homeland Security.. Evan received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School (2013). While in law school, he was a legal extern for the Department of Labor's Civil Rights Center, the U.S. Marshals Service's Office of General Counsel, the Homicide Division of the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office for Prince George’s County, and the Office of the Judge Advocate for the U.S. Army in Heidelberg, Germany, among others.
