He has also handled and argued cases in multiple Louisiana appellate courts, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the Louisiana Supreme Court. Guy graduated from Duke University in 1985 (B. S. in Biology) and received his J.D. degree from Tulane University Law School in 1990. He began working as a law clerk for the Duplass Firm in 1989.
