During my years as a prosecutor (2005-2008) I prosecuted individuals accused of crimes in Miami-Dade County. Following one hard fought jury trial, with no eyewitnesses, I got a conviction in a murder case previously featured in ‘The First 48’ episode ‘House of Blood/Last Man Standing.’ In 2008, I began private practice as a criminal defense attorney. I successfully obtained dozens of acquittals following jury trials, including murder, rape, robbery, and other complex, serious felony charges.
