Kate’s behind the scenes experience has been invaluable in providing her with insight on nursing home and other civil litigation cases that most lawyers do not have. She worked as a staff attorney for Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jack Goger. After Kate completed her clerkship with Judge Goger, she worked for one of Atlanta’s top civil litigation defense firms, Carlock, Copeland & Stair, where she was made partner after building a successful nursing home practice. While at Carlock, Kate worked for many major insurance companies defending cases focusing on nursing home abuse, medical malpractice, and motor vehicle accidents.
