She obtained her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia where she underwent a full time internship at the Athens-Clarke County Solicitor General’s office. Kate earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia where she was a member of the Moot Court Society and the Moot Court Review Board.. Kate has two wonderful sons, Jack and Connor. In her free time, she loves trying to learn new things such as golf and mountain biking. She is currently teaching herself to cook. Kate was an avid runner as a child and recently got back to running and completed her first half marathon in 2012. Kate loves to travel and experience other cultures.
