Kate handles cases anywhere from the pre-suit phase, trial and the appellate level. Not all lawyers are able to handle appeals on the cases they litigate, but Kate argues her own appeals. She has even been fortunate enough to successfully argue before the Georgia Supreme Court.. Kate grew up in Lilburn, Georgia and attended Parkview High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia where she underwent a full time internship at the Athens-Clarke County Solicitor General’s office. Kate earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia where she was a member of the Moot Court Society and the Moot Court Review Board.. Kate has two wonderful sons, Jack and Connor. In her free time, she loves trying to learn new things such as golf and mountain biking. She is currently teaching herself to cook. Kate was an avid runner as a child and recently got back to running and completed her first half marathon in 2012. Kate loves to travel and experience other cultures.
