She is known for her practical approach to problem solving and her ability to construct her client’s final financial picture to reveal and protect, to the greatest extent possible, the full value of their estate.. Prior to joining MendenFreiman, Janet was the in-house trust counsel at Wachovia Bank and was a founding member of the law firm of Becker & Fortune LLP. In addition to her J.D., she completed extensive graduate level coursework in counseling psychology at the University of Toledo and Georgia State University and finds her studies to be of enormous value when working with clients experiencing grief and loss.
