Caleb graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Geography. While at Alabama, he was tapped for membership into various honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa. He was a member of the inaugural class of the Blount Undergraduate Initiative, the UA Track and Cross Country teams, and the Kappa Alpha Order social fraternity. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Caleb received his juris doctorate at the University of Georgia School of Law. While at Georgia Law, he served as a member of the law school's Mock Trial Team and was a participant in the school's prosecutorial and land use clinics. While a student in Athens, Caleb was inducted into the Gridiron Secret Society.. A Tallahassee native, Caleb married the former Miss Faris Smith of Greenville, South Carolina. The couple resides in Aiken, South Carolina with their three daughters, Eliza Faris, Ryals, and Clarke.
