WHY HIRE ME?I take an aggressive position with each individual case we decide to file suit on.  Upon case intake and we decide that we are accepting a case, we file suit immediately.  This is done for many reasons.  For example, in an 18 wheeler collision case, evidence that can be crucial to the case can disappear really quick.  In a recent case, we filed suit with a restraining order to ensure the 18 wheeler semi truck was not moved allowing our experts to get all data, such as the data on the “black box.”  This data provides much insight that was essential to the case.Second, why do we sue immediately?  Well first, the litigation process takes time.  I feel the faster the case is filed and a trial date is set, the quicker the case is to resolve.  As a firm, we make it a goal to resolve your case in 9 to 12 months from initial signing and intake of the case.  Of course there are a few exceptions to this, however, we do really well getting cases resolved within this prescribed time.Third, why do we sue immediately?  If the case is unable to resolve through negotiations, instead of waiting for all discovery to be done, which is usually the first 120 days, we have already done this and are prepared to take the next steps to move the case.  Usually this involves depositions of witnesses.  Can be anyone from the Corporate Representative speaking on the company’s policies and procedures, to the CEO of a company describing the chain of command.  Of course, the individual that caused the harm as well.Bottom line there is no reason to let time go without something being accomplished.  Even if it’s just getting the suit filed and document discovery process taking place is better than having to put the case on hold because no action was taken. If you would like to speak to me regarding a case or if you or a love one has been injured, please feel free to email me.

Elder law is a complex field, especially in today's world - families are no longer "traditional" and long term health care costs are skyrocketing with little assistance from any source.   Clients fear financial impoverishment in addition to personal indignities and stress.  Our staff is tremendous and works hard to get the job done professionally and with compassion.  Nothing is easy, and certainly there is expense involved, but we provide a holistic look at clients, their families and their legal issues, and offer the counsel we believe best serves their objectives.  Ultimately, clients and their designated decision makers have to make the choices which are right for them.
