I graduated from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Arts degree is 1974 and received my Juris Doctor degree in 1976. I have admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1977 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1979.. I began my legal career working in the Office of the States' Attorney for Baltimore City from 1977 through 1983, where I became an Assistant States Attorney. After gaining expereince in litigation as a prosecuting attorney, I changed my career focus to private practice.
