We are excited about the recent launch of our new firm Pascale Stevens LLC.  Our goal is to continue to provide small firm service to our clients, while delivering big-firm skill and counsel.  While my primary practice focus remains in construction law, where I am able to build on my many years of experience serving design professionals, contractors, and owners, we also provide general business advice and corporate work, and handle complex commercial litigation matters as well.

Ms. Steedman’s practice focuses primarily on commercial construction-related civil litigation. She represents institutional owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals, and municipalities in all areas of construction, including contract drafting and negotiation, pre-litigation dispute resolution, and all phases of civil litigation. She also handles complex commercial construction disputes, including mechanics’ liens, trust fund and prompt payment issues, impact and delay claim analysis, construction defects, and warranty issues on public and private projects. Her experience includes a wide variety of litigation matters, including fair housing disputes, condemnation matters, MOSH liability, and bid protests. She has litigated cases at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts. In 2010 and 2011, Maryland SuperLawyers named Ms. Steedman as a Rising Star in the area of construction litigation.  Ms. Steedman also serves on the Maryland Defense Counsel's Board.. Ms. Steedman is designated as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP™) by the U.S. Green Building Council. Her LEED AP designation allows clients to earn one point toward LEED Certification for their projects. She also advises clients on green building incentive-based and regulatory requirements and represents clients in adversarial proceedings.

Ms. Lentini maintains a general litigation practice concentrating primarily in construction, commercial litigation, insurance defense, and insurance coverage.  She has extensive experience with contract interpretation disputes, delay and impact claims, contract terminations, construction defects, mechanics' liens, bond claims and injunctions.  Ms. Lentini has also interpreted insurance policies and offered opinions on coverage and the insurance companies’ duty to defend and duty to indemnify. Meighan’s practice consists primarily of civil litigation in the areas of construction and commercial disputes. She has successfully navigated her clients through all of the stages of a lawsuit—discovery, pre-trial motions practice, mediation, trial and appeal—in the Maryland and District of Columbia state and federal court systems. She is also experienced in admiralty and maritime law, personal injury/auto torts and real estate matters.. Beyond her legal practice, Meighan teaches a contract law class for the construction management program at the Community College of Baltimore County. She is an active member of the Federal Bar Association, Maryland Chapter and Secretary of Sail Baltimore, the non-profit organization that brings tall ships to the Baltimore Harbor. She is a former Chair of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and she is a Fellow of the Baltimore Bar Foundation and Maryland Bar Foundation.

David B. Applefeld is a member of the Firm with more than 18 years experience. Mr. Applefeld has litigated complex construction defect claims, insurance coverage claims, mechanics' lien actions, and architectural and engineering professional negligence claims in all levels of state and federal courts, before administrative agencies and before the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Applefeld serves as national panel trial counsel and special litigation counsel for several insurance companies and businesses. He is experienced in handling catastrophic personal injury claims, class action lawsuits, product liability matters, regulatory matters and other business litigation matters including contract disputes, business dissolutions, and conspiracy, fraud and RICO claims.

Brian S. Jablon is a Member of Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, construction law, government contract law, real estate and real property tax assessment appeals.. Mr. Jablon frequently writes and speaks on construction industry topics and teachers seminars for lawyers on taking effective depositions, and serves as an arbitrator and mediator in construction industry cases.. He has served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry A. Cole in the Court of Appeals of Maryland. Mr. Jablon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
