Our office has operated on Justice Avenue since June 1, 1993. It's a far piece from being an old farm boy from North Louisiana, but it's what I've wanted to do since the Seventh Grade. As a lawyer, I have been representing victims of accidents since 1989. Initially as a law clerk and then as a lawyer, I had the great opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious personal injury attorneys in the state. I worked there almost exclusively in the fields of medical negligence and maritime accidents. In 1991, I left for greener pastures to what was at the time the largest personal injury firm in the state. Not only was my experience in handling cases involving offshore accidents greatly expanded, but I learned how to represent the automobile accident victim. From there, I helped form a partneship which handled only personal injury and wrongful death cases. If it involves an injury from an accident, I've probably handled something similar - whether it's a minor fender bender or a death on the high seas. From those humble beginnings, I now represent people the way I have always wanted to - on a personal level. It starts at the foundation of the relationship - the contract for services. Most attorneys charge 33%, others 36%, and a well-known advertising irm charges a 40% fee, if they settle your case without filing a lawsuit. Their fee is much higher if a lawsuit is necessary. This directly affects how much money you will receive for your injury. The lesser the attorney's fee means more money you will put in your pocket, and that's not just a guarantee - it's in your contract.

My journey to the personal injury field was unconventional. During law school my initial plans were to go into the practice area of property law. Unfortunately, in my second year of law school I fell ill with an auto immune condition. The doctors knew what medicine I needed to get into remission however I was denied by the insurance companies multiple times which led my condition to worsen and placed me in the emergency room. Only then when I was fighting against a life altering surgery did the insurance company approve me for the medicine I needed and deserved. I was one of the fortunate ones who actually had "great" insurance, yet even then after paying my monthly premium for years their decision was based on their bottom line not my well-being. At that moment I knew what I wanted to do. I had a burning desire to fight against these companies in any and all situations. If you hire me, I will take your fight against them personally because I have seen what these companies are capable of and never have your best intentions at hand.
My client's needs are of the utmost importance. I have over twelve years of experience, and I am committed to meeting the needs of every client. I approach every client with a focus on integrity, advocacy, and understanding. I fight for you!. I have a well-deserved reputation of excellence in providing smart, sensible, and cost-effective legal and business solutions for my clients.

Many people ask me "when did you decide to become a lawyer". It goes back to when I was a teenager and my sister died because of the neglegence of doctors during "routine" wisdom teeth extraction. My sister, Marcae, suffered a violent reaction to general anesthesia and after several wrong decisions by her doctors, she passed at the age of 20. My parents were thoughtful people and sought help and education so that my brother and myself would be protected from similar fates during our lives. They received some wonderful help from many, and not so much from others. There were lawyers involved who completely botched their duties as advocates and counselors. After a poorly handled malpractice case was dismissed, my parents were confronted with having to fight the battle of legal malpractice. My father was an extemely intelligent man who was a giant in his field of expertise, but he felt helpless in dealing with this most difficult life circumstance. I knew from watching him deal with these events that I did not want to experience such roadblocks in my life and, in fact, I wanted to help people manuever through the minefields that confront them in life. My entire career in the practice of law has been to help people during the most difficult moments in their lives. I will continue to fight these fights.
