Edwin L. Darrel Papillion is a veteran trial lawyer who has represented hundreds of clients in serious personal injury cases during his 20 years as a lawyer.  He is President-Elect of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is Past-President of the Baton Rouge Bar Association.  He has taught law students at LSU Law School for the past 15 years.. was born in Eunice, Louisiana, in St. Landry Parish.   He was Student Body President at Louisiana State University at Eunice, before transferring to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.  He attended LSU on an academic scholarship, graduating with a degree in History, with minors in English and Political Science in 1990..
