I grew up in a farming family in the tri-city area, and I'm grateful to continue to serve the mid-michigan communities where I grew up.  My passion for being a voice for those who don't have one started back on the school playground and continues to this day.  Today my practice focuses on criminal defense, alcohol/drug related driving offenses, michigan medical marijuana law, family law, and estate planning.. Prior to moving back home to Bay City, I worked in Lansing for the Michigan State Senate where I helped state senators craft and develop legislation on a variety issues ranging from agriculture to criminal justice reform.  My time with the Senate was very interesting, but I soon realized that helping clients indvidually in private practice was what I was meant to do..
