He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2002.. He attended South Texas College of Law in Houston where he thrived and showed a passion for the courtroom. Aaron received a Best Speaker award in a Mock Trial competition and was an active leader at the Law School before graduating in 2008. After successfully passing the Texas bar exam, Aaron’s path took him to Kansas City, Missouri to be with his wife.. Aaron is also currently licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri. While living in Kansas City, he served as a Missouri state prosecutor. As an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, he was initially responsible for handling misdemeanor crimes such as driving while intoxicated (DWI), assault, domestic violence and drug offenses. After a short time, he was promoted to a felony court and docket where he was responsible for handling a wide range of felony offenses including felony DWIs, violent assaults, burglaries and robberies. After almost three years as state prosecutor in Missouri, Aaron left the prosecutor’s office in the summer of 2012 to return home to Texas with his family.. Aaron was hired on with the Brazoria County District Attorney’s office in Angleton, Texas as an Assistant District Attorney in the Fall of 2012. As a former felony prosecutor for the State of Texas, Aaron successfully prosecuted the most serious felony cases including narcotics, DWI fatalities, robberies, burglaries, sexual assaults and murders. He was undefeated and never lost a jury trial as a felony prosecutor. After four years as a Texas prosecutor, Aaron decided to leave the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office and founded The Law Firm of Aaron W. Perry, PLLC.
