Before becoming an attorney, I had 15 years experience with trade associations, working with Congress and the regulatory agencies. Our firm still provides public policy/lobbying support for selected associations and organizations.. I also worked for 14 years as a disk jockey on WHFS-FM, where I hosted a radio show and engineered a variety of foreign language programs.. Dionne is admitted to practice in the Court of Appeals of Maryland. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Alliance for Black Women Attorneys of Maryland, Inc.. Before joining The Griffin Firm, PLLC, Dionne served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sylvester B. Cox, Jr. at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael W. Reed at the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.. Dionne received her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was a student attorney in the Civil Advocacy Clinic. She represented individuals in actions against the Social Security Administration and counseled clients seeking record expungements of prior convictions.. Dionne was also one of eight students’ hand-selected for the Fannie Angelos Scholar Program, which recruits talented students from HBCUs to attend UB Law.. Merging her passion for the law and her faith, Dionne served as an extern at Christian Legal Aid of the District of Columbia.
