I am a recently-admitted Maryland attorney with several years of litigation experience as a paralegal both prior to and during law school. While in law school, I concentrated my studies in antitrust, communications, and intellectual property law. I served in several internships while in school, learning such skills as policy analysis, administrative law, judicial decision-making, and regulatory theory and practice.

Given my strong belief in the benefits of early dispute resolution, I have completed the arbitration and mediation training programs sponsored by the American Health Lawyer's Association ("AHLA").  I served as an arbitrator in a Florida nursing home dispute this past spring and look forward to doing so again this fall.. Before I went to law school, I worked as house painter, a laborer on gas pipelines and concrete crews, a carpenter, and a roughneck on an oil rig.  I believe that that  background, together with my educational and professional experience, has helped me to appreciate and relate to clients and jurors from all walks of life..
