I graduated from college at the University of Minnesota and from law school at William Mitchell College of Law.  I worked at Fairview Southdale Hospital in between college and law school and I found great satisfaction in helping others through difficult times.  I found that I was able to continue to help others through difficult situations as a bankruptcy attorney.

After attending the University of Illinois for Undergraduate school I attended Northern Illinois University School of Law.  I was a Prosecutor for the McLean County State's Attorneys office for 2 years before leaving the office to practice with my father Jim Finegan.  I will be working closely with my father to learn Bankruptcy Law, Real Estate law and other Civil Litigation matters.

Lin was previously an attorney with the downtown Minneapolis law firm of Moss & Barnett, P.A., where he specialized in complex business litigation for public electric utility rate cases, notably for client Xcel Energy. His work experience include capital structure and return on equity (ROE), accounting treatment and cost recovery of expenses, tax treatment of stand alone versus consolidated tax structures, and numerous regulatory filings.. In his solo practice, Jeff specialized in bankruptcy, civil litigation, business law, and family law.. Jeff has the range of experience to advise individuals and companies, both large and small, on their legal strategy, and the available legal options to achieve their goals..
