Paul Odegaard, a native of North Dakota, came to Montana in 1999 to begin his legal career in private practice. Prior to earning his law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1998, Paul graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota in 1994. While attending law school, he was inducted into the Order of the Coif, which reflected his achievement for graduating in the top 10% of his class. Paul was also published by, and a member of, the law review.. After graduating from law school, Paul served as a law clerk for the Justice Mary Muehlen Maring of the North Dakota Supreme Court for one year. From there, he began working for the Crowley Fleck firm in Billings, Montana, where he handled civil litigation cases—primarily in the fields of personal injury and workers’ compensation.. In 2001, Paul joined the firm, Cozzens, Warren & Harris. While there, he focused primarily on representing plaintiffs in personal injury, product liability, workers’ compensation and safe workplace litigation cases. In 2005, the firm became Cozzens, Harman, Warren, Harris & Odegaard, PLLP. In 2008, Paul started his own practice with a focus on work-related accidents.. Having spent much of his youth near the Bakken oil fields of the Williston Basin, he became particularly committed to representing victims of workplace injury in that region. Finally, in 2014, Paul formally merged his law practice with his friend and colleague, Matt Braukmann—subsequently forming Odegaard Braukmann Law, PLLC. Douglas Day has lived in Montana since 2001 when he and his family moved to Missoula to enter Law School at the University of Montana. Before that, Douglas completed a bachelor of science double major in biochemistry and cellular biology from the University of California, San Diego. It did not take long to fall in love with Big Sky country. After law school, his family moved to Lewistown to clerk for the 10th Judicial District Court for a year. Douglas then joined the Office of Public Defender as a Regional Deputy. He has served as the Regional Deputy for the past 11 years, managing attorneys and clients for 11 counties in Central Montana.. During his time serving as the Regional Deputy, he completed advanced courses in Trial Advocacy and became certified to defend Capital Crimes. In 2007, he received the Governor’s award for Excellence in Performance as well as the Montana Department of Administration’s Team of the Year Award. In 2013, Douglas received the Excellence in Leadership Award for the Montana Office of Public Defender. He has also served as a Fellow for national review of public defense.. Douglas has based his career on serving others and helping them make the most out of their situation. He serves actively in his church and community. Douglas loves playing board games with his four children, reading young adult fiction, being outside, and running marathons with his wife. In 2007, his family created a nonprofit organization for youth fitness that serves children in Central Montana. The entire family enjoys coaching, managing, participating, and instructing fitness, as well as caring for their facility to promote fitness and fun. Colin was raised in Billings. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2008 with a B.A. in History. Colin attended the University of Montana School of Law and graduated with honors in 2012. After graduation, Colin served as a law clerk to Judge Susan Watters in both state and federal court. While with Judge Watters, Colin gained valuable insight while observing attorneys practice in a variety of settings. After his clerkship, Colin worked at the accomplished law firm of Bishop, Heenan & Davies, where he was mentored by some of the best attorneys in Montana.  In September 2017, Colin opened his own firm in downtown Billings.. Colin loves practicing law in his hometown and representing consumers and injured parties.  Representing individuals is Colin’s passion, and he always puts his clients first.  He is admitted to practice in Montana state and federal courts. Colin is also a member of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the Yellowstone Area Bar Association.  He has given several presentations to fellow attorneys on insurance coverage issues, legal research, and practicing in federal court.. While based in Billings, Colin practices throughout Montana.  He has appeared in cases in state district court, federal district court, and before the Montana Supreme Court.. In their free time, Colin and his wife try to keep up with their three young sons. Hoping to eventually break through to the ranks of professional coaching, he coaches youth baseball, basketball, and soccer.  Colin also enjoys Montana’s outdoors by fishing, hunting, and hiking. An avid sports fan, he strangely enjoys having his heart broken every summer by his beloved Colorado Rockies.

Before venturing into personal injury law, Merry Marr began her legal career working as a Patent Attorney in Washington State. She then expanded her legal skills by working in consumer protection law and later as the supervising attorney at the office of the public defender in Montana.
