One scholarship is awarded to an engineering student who displays interest in pursuing an engineering profession in the area of auto racing. The other awards scholarships to deserving nurses who wish to pursue an advanced degree in medicine.. I have been a long-time auto racing enthusiast and auto collector. My office has sponsored more than 100 local racers and many races. I am also a major sponsor at most race tracks in the state of Florida. I have been a long-time, avid driver myself, winning many races at virtually all of the local race tracks. I have competed in a number of professional series, including the 24 hours of Daytona and the 12 hours of Sebring. I currently hold an FIA professional license. My racing career continues, racing vintage cars throughout the many tracks found in the U.S. I have raced for many years the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, a track I consider one of the most difficult throughout the country. For years I competed in Formula race cars, an open-wheel race car. I recently satisfied a long-time desire to race at Indy racing a rare 1953 Nash-Healey.. My experience as a racer and auto afficianado has added to my experience as an expert in the field of auto crashes.

Chris was born in Miami and moved with his family to the Tampa Bay area where he has lived almost his entire life. Chris received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida – Fredric G. Levin College of Law.. Chris began his career as an attorney in civil litigation focusing on both first and third party insurance disputes. Chris devoted his first several years of practice defending insurance companies and their interests including a position as trial counsel for one of the country’s largest insurance companies. Chris now utilizes his extensive experience gained through his representation of insurance companies to fight for the rights of the injured. Chris has volunteered his time at the Guardian Ad Litem Program, Three Rivers Legal Services, and Bay Area Legal Services Association. When Chris is not fighting for the rights of his clients, you can find him supporting the local Tampa sporting teams and Liverpool F.C.
