If you have been injured by the fault of another then I know what you're going through because I've been on both sides of the desk – as a lawyer and as a client. In May of 1974 at the intersection of US 41 and Cortez Road in Bradenton, a car ran a red light and hit me broadside. Unfortunately, I was riding a motorcycle. I lost the big toe on my right foot, and my ankle was fused. I endured over a dozen surgeries and was in a cast for over a year. I know something about pain and suffering. I felt the insurance company was less than fair with me, and I have made it my life's mission to protect others from the unfair tactics used by insurance companies.
I lived in Jackson County, Florida before moving to Manatee County at age 9. I've lived in Manatee County ever since. I attended school at Palmetto High School, received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, and my law degree from Stetson University College of Law. I have worked as both a prosecutor at the State Attorney's Office in Bradenton, and also as an Assistant Public Defender. This well rounded legal background has honed my skills as a zealous advocate for my clients.
I focus my practice on wills, trusts and estates, including probate and trust administrations. I am board certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel.. Our main office is in Bradenton, but we also offer appointments in Holmes Beach, Lakewood Ranch and Parrish.
I am here to help you and your family properly design and execute your Will, Trust, Durable Power of Attorney, Healthcare Surrogate, and more. Additionally, I can assist with qualifying you or your loved one for Florida Medicaid and/or VA Aid & Attendance as needed.. One of the reasons I love this area of practice is that I get to work so closely with my clients and strive to make sure they are not only aware of what options they have, but that they also have a true understanding of each of those options. It is my job to educate my clients and guide them- not to make decisions for them and force a certain direction.. I am VA accredited and have experience with VA related cases at the local, Board, and Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims levels.. Outside of practicing law, I enjoy photography (and spent quite a bit of time as a professional photographer), snorkeling, kayaking, and just enjoying the Florida lifestyle.
