I've been passionate about constitutional law since I was in high school, and I have devoted my legal career to the study of the U.S. Constitution.  While in law school, I won an award presented to the graduating student with the best GPA in constitutional law classes at the George Washington University School of Law.. In 2008, I co-authored an amicus brief before the United States Supreme Court in Boumediene v. Bush and have done pro bono work on behalf of foreign nationals suing Yahoo! Inc.. From 2005-2010, I was an instructor at the University of South Carolina, teaching debate and argumentation, and a variety of political science classes focusing on the law.  In 2005-06, I was the head coach of the debate team at South Carolina.  I also spent two years teaching constitutional law as part of Penn State's World Campus program.. In my spare time, I enjoy photography, primarily landscapes, and have a goal to visit all the National Parks with my wife.
