During that time she handled over 60 jury trials, including a murder prosecution later featured on the hit T.V. series SNAPPED! Since leaving the District Attorney’s office in 2003, she has been in private practice. For over ten years she worked as an associate, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Mara received her Masters’ Degree in Dispute Resolution from Marquette University in 2017. Mara’s practice concentrates on litigation, primarily insurance defense. She lives in Muskego, Wisconsin with her husband and three children.
