James “Jamie” Quinn Auricchio is a criminal defense attorney with 20 years of experience in Local, State and Federal Courts. A former State and Federal Prosecutor, he has served on the Faculty of the University at Buffalo Medical School and as an instructor with the New York Prosecutor Training Institute, the Municipal Police Academy for Erie County and the University at Buffalo Trial Team program.. He formerly served as a director for the Erie County Bar Foundation and as committee chair for the Bar Associations Criminal Law Committee.. I grew up in Skaneateles New York (just west and south of Syracuse), with my parents and my two older sisters.  I was a die hard Orangemen fan and still dable, but since relocated to Buffalo, my fan-energy has gone to the Bills.. I went to college at Grove City (just north of Pittsburgh, PA), where I studied psychology.  Thereafter I got my duel degree in Social work and law at UB, where I received a Masters in Social Work and my JD in law.. I have been pracriting in Buffalo since 2006.. I now live in Amherst with a beautiful wife and two boys, 8 and 6.
