Subsequently, she graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with a juris doctorate (J.D.), where she interned at the College of Law’s Clinical Law Program, participated in a six-week Comparative and International Law Summer Study Abroad program in Arcachon, France, wrote for the Journal of Gender, Race, and Justice (JGRJ), and subsequently served as the Managing Editor for the JGRJ.Since 2013, Laura has passionately served as a volunteer at Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa, in the areas of fellowship and children’s ministry. Laura has also served as the District 1B representative for the Young Lawyers Division of Iowa and has presented on behalf of the National Business Institute on the topic of Bankruptcy Law.
