Jamie A. Propps joined Meyer Capel in February of 2021 and earned shareholder status in January of 2022. She is a significant contributor to the firm’s litigation services practice group, focuses the majority of her practice on criminal and traffic defense, and serves as a mentor in the firm's attorney mentoring program.. I have deep roots in downstate Illinois--just take a look at my garden.  Before I was a lawyer I cooked for a living for 12 years, and I've found that no amount of cooking skills can substitute for produce picked right from your back yard.  Central Illinois has amazing soil and a long but tricky growing season (I've lost tomato pepper plants to frost in June.)  I've lived in Illinois since 1975, graduated from with two degrees from the University of Illinois, and two of my three children were born here, so my personal roots are deep here, too!
