Richard Cruz, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, earned  a B.A. degree with honors in 1995 from the University of California, Irvine. Mr. Cruz earned his J.D. from the Arizona State University School of Law. His law education included trips abroad to Cambridge, England and Geneva, Switzerland. I was born in Detroit, and raised in southeastern Michigan and northwestern Ohio, before moving to the desert southwest after graduation from college. I traded winter gray skies, cold and snow for sunshine warmth and annual withering summer heat. I have lived in Arizona since 1976, and graduated law school in 1983..
