I was born in South Port, NC. As a matter of fact, most of my family still lives in the New Hanover/Brunswick County area. However, I spent most of my school-age years in Ohio, where I also pursued my degrees.. My undergraduate degree is in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. While studying MIS, I learned about cool developing areas of law. No, I didn't decide to go to law school for any altruistic reason, I went because the legal subjects I learned in class seemed exciting.. I studied the law at Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. I am ambitious, so I decided to get my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) while in law school. The dual JD/MBA degrees have been a great asset to my clients and running a law firm like a small business.. The most amazing thing happened while I was in law school - I fell in love with the law.
