Jacob Reitan joined Reitan Law Office in 2014.  Jacob completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in 2004, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in political science and communication studies.   After Northwestern, Jacob received a Presidential Scholarship to attend Harvard Divinity School where he received a Masters in Theological Studies.  Jacob went to law school at the University of Minnesota where he graduated magna cum laude.  While in law school, Jacob clerked for the Carver County Attorney and the Hennepin County Attorney. Prior to starting his legal career, Jacob worked as an advocate for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.  As a part of this work, Jacob founded the Equality Ride and the Right to Serve Campaign.  In 2006, Jacob was invited by the White House to be with President Obama when he signed the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” law.   In 2012, Governor Dayton named Jacob to the Governor’s Task Force on the Prevention of School Bullying.   For his advocacy Jacob has been awarded the Brian Coyle Leadership Award from the Human Rights Campaign, and he has been named one of the people of the year by Advocate Magazine and Lavender Magazine.  At Reitan Law Office, Jacob joins his brother and his father fighting for the rights of the injured and disabled.

Benjamin L. Reitan began practicing law in 2002. Ben began his legal career in San Diego, California. While in law school Ben clerked at a successful San Diego personal injury law firm. After law school Ben practiced civil litigation at a San Diego law firm that specialized in business litigation. While at the firm Ben worked on many complex cases including gasoline pricing disputes against major oil companies and multi-national business disputes.. In 2005 Ben made the difficult decision to leave San Diego and return to his home state of Minnesota where he partnered with his father, Philip Reitan, at Reitan Law Office, PLLC.. At Reitan Law Office, PLLC Ben limits his practice to helping individuals who are injured and disabled. Ben handles Personal Injury cases, Worker’s Compensation cases, Social Security Disability appeals, and Private Short and Long Term Disability Appeals. Andy Haugen founded Haugen Law Group, PLLC in October 2016, after taking over its previous namesake, Haugen and Braaten, P.A., in October of 2014. Andy has represented clients throughout the Southwest Metro and Hennepin County on an array of family law issues, including child custody, complex property and asset division in divorce, business and retirement valuation, and modifications to spousal maintenance, child support and parenting time orders.Andy provides an understanding, steady approach to what is most often an emotional time for his clients.
